Opening Hours
The museum opens 9:00–20:00 Tuesday to Sunday and 10:00–15:00 on Mondays, with last entry 90 minutes before closing — and it is closed on the first Tuesday of every month.

Last entry is an hour and a half before closing. That gives a practical final slot of 18:30 Tuesday to Sunday and 13:30 on Mondays — and because entry is timed, “last entry” is a real cut-off rather than a suggestion.
The closure that ruins itineraries
The museum is closed on the first Tuesday of every month.
It is easy to check the opening hours, see “Tuesday–Sunday 9:00–20:00”, and plan a first-Tuesday visit that cannot happen. If your Kraków dates include the start of a month, check the date before anything else.
Timed entry
A ticket admits you within fifteen minutes of the time on it. Arriving an hour late does not work; nor does arriving three hours early and hoping. Online sales close six hours before the visit, and open 90 days ahead.
When to go
Early, or late. The first slots after opening and the last couple before the 18:30 cut-off are markedly quieter than the middle of the day, when the guided groups and school parties are moving through. The exhibition’s narrow corridors make a busy slot noticeably slower.
Not Monday, unless free entry is the point — see free Mondays for that trade.
